My Shop — Privacy Policy Last updated: 1 December 2025 This Privacy Policy explains how the My Shop mobile application collects, uses, discloses and protects your information. By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. 1. What information we collect We may collect the following types of information: Authentication data: If you sign in with Google Sign-In we collect your name, email address and profile picture (if available) to identify your account. Inventory & business data: Product names, SKU/IDs, stock counts, purchase/sale prices, transaction records and client contact numbers — data you enter into the app. Purchase & billing data: In-app purchase tokens and limited billing info required to manage subscriptions (handled via Google Play Billing). Device & technical data: Device model, OS version, network status and app usage logs for diagnostics and improving the service. 2. How we use your information We use the information to: Provide and operate the App and its features (inventory management, sales, reports). Personalize the App experience and show relevant information. Verify account ownership and secure your data. Contact you about important service updates or account status via email. 3. Security & storage We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. Business and personal data you provide are stored on secured servers (for example Firebase / Firestore or our hosted database) with encryption at rest and in transit where supported. 4. Google Authentication & Billing The App uses Google Sign-In for authentication and only collects basic profile data (name, email, photo). For Purchase we use Google Play Billing — purchase tokens may be sent to our server for verification and expiry tracking. 5. Third parties & sharing We do not sell or rent your personal or business data to third parties. We may use trusted third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, and payment verification (e.g., Firebase, Google Play). These providers process data under confidentiality agreements. 6. Permissions required by the App We request permissions necessary for app features. Examples: android.permission.INTERNET android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE android.permission.CAMERA com.android.vending.BILLING android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS We request these so the App can access the internet, detect network state, use the camera for QR scanning or product images, and handle in-app purchases. Camera permission is optional — declining it will limit camera-based features. 7. Data retention & expiry We retain your account and business data while you use the App or until you request deletion. Subscription records (expiry and status) are stored for managing active access and for our internal records. 8. Your rights Access & Correction: You can view and edit your account and business data inside the App. Deletion: You may request permanent deletion of your account and related data. Firebase & third-party disclaimers We use Firebase and other third-party services. While we secure and control what we send there, we are not responsible for the internal policies of these third parties beyond the contracts we maintain. We do not sell user data to advertisers. 11. Changes to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post changes on this page and, when appropriate, notify users by email or in-app message before the changes take effect.
